200+ Mile Epic

On one of the hottest days of the summer so far, 22nd July, club member Declan Corrigan decided that it would be a good day for a spin on the bike.  Nothing unusual in that, eh?  Nothing except that Declan decided to cycle from Ballyronan across Ireland to Ennis in County Clare.  A total distance of 201 miles!  And he did it solo!!

He set off at 6am, and with a few pit stops along the way made it down at 8.30pm.  Photographs below including proof of distance travelled.
