Club Runs

Club runs depart from The Mill, Coalisland on Saturday’s and Sundays. There are 2 cycle runs on a Saturday, one at 10.00am which normally is in around 40-50 miles with average speed of 16-17mph. The Leisure group departs at 10.30am and normally cycle in around 35-40 miles. Sunday runs depart at 10.00am. All club runs will take in a shop stop so bring along a few pound. Routes and distances will vary at this time of the year depending on weather conditions for Sunday cycles so please keep an eye on the website and Facebook. Last Sunday saw a great turnout of cyclists for a 45 mile cycle which was at a controlled pace that suited everyone. We would encourage more members to come out on the Sunday runs.

Could all cyclists please ensure they have mud guards fitted to their bikes and wear the proper club kit at all times if in their possession.

Club kit can be ordered or purchased by contacting Fergus Bain. All club kit is now for sale at 28 Northland Row, Dungannon. Feel free to pop in during shop open hours.

There was a great turn out for the registration night last Thursday which included quite a few new members both adult and youth. Membership is still open and all existing members are urged to re new as their current Cycling Ireland license expires on 31st December 2014. For those who have registered direct with Cycling Ireland for 2015 they must still complete a membership form for IWCC. Membership forms can be obtained from club secretary.

The Ernie Magwood Super 6 Time Trial League  prize giving will take place in league sponsors Bluebells restaurant on Tuesday 9th of December at 7pm. This is free to ALL competitors, sponsors, helpers, timekeepers, Marshall’s etc as a way of saying thanks for supporting the EMS6. Please contact James McLaughlin if attending.
