It was a busy weekend for Island Wheelers with the Dinner and Presentation on Friday and the reliability trial on Sunday. Members gathered in The Mill Court for a superb 4 course meal followed by Chairman Brian McAllister presenting awards to members who competed in various aspects of cycling throughout 2014.

WRC driver Kris Meeke swapped 4 wheels for 2 on Sunday and joined the Island Wheelers as well as 100 cyclists from clubs in Armagh, South Derry and Tyrone for the Reliability Trial on Sunday. This was a stern test for the road racing season ahead and it didn’t disappoint with a tough 60 mile route. There was a 40 mile route for those just interested in a leisurely cycle. Thanks to everyone who turned up and supported our 2 local charities Lilac and Order of Malta. IWCC would like to wish Nathan Weir a speedy recovery.
