On what is the 21st Anniversary of P.J. (Packie) Logan’s death the club is delighted that the Logan family have come onboard to sponsor this years P.J. Logan race for A*/A1/A2 & Juniors.
Packie was well respected and successful in the sporting field with his passion for cycling and athletics. He founded Dungannon Wheelers in the 1950s and under his guidance they won four consecutive 25-mile All-Ireland Time Trials. Packie also founded the Tour de Tyrone, modelled on the Tour de France.
Thanks to Adrian and Pat Logan (P.J.’s sons) and club Chairperson Jim Kelly for meeting up on the P.J. circuit to accept the sponsorship and kick start the build up to 14th April.
A*/A1/A2 & Junior riders will race on the famous figure of 8 circuit for the 2024 P.J. Logan cup and the winner will also take home a fantastic and well earned first prize of £500.00. This is possibly the largest winning cash prize for a one day race in Ireland.
The club sincerely thank the Logan family for sponsoring this years P.J. Logan Cup race and we hope to see the best riders in Ireland come along to Coalisland on Sunday 14th April.
This year we are running 4 separate standalone races to accommodate all categories. In the morning there will be an A4 (Eddie Polin Cup) race as well as a Women’s race.
After that there will be a standalone A3 (Hugo Loughran GP) race and A*/A1 & A2 race for the coveted P.J. Logan Cup.

Entry will open @ 9.00am tomorrow (Saturday) morning for all races. Entry fee is £16 plus Eventmaster fee’s.
A4 Race – Start time 09:00 5 laps 33 miles.
Womans Race – Start time 09:01, 5 laps 33 miles.
A3 Race – Start time 11:05, 7 laps 46.2 miles.
A*/A1/2/JR Race – Start time 11.00 9 laps 64.3 miles.
