Wheelers Mountain Biking

Snow + MTBing + the Wheelers = A Winning Combination

A number of the Wheelers made the most of the snowy conditions on Sunday morning and dusted off their mountain bikes for the clubs first mountain bike outing of the year.  The arctic conditions didn’t damper the spirits of the Wheelers, and lead by the clubs seasoned mountain biker Cathal, everyone was soon warmed up thanks to the first climb of the day in the picturesque Drumcairne Forest.  The forest has several trails, some with elevated ladders which are great for showing off your bike handling skills or in Aidans case, gymnastic skills!!

The trails are suitable for both first time mountain bikers and experienced mountain bikers and are seriously good fun!  Hopefully we can get a group out every other Sunday over the winter months so keep checking back for future rides.

Still smiling after 3 hours mountain biking!
