Carrying Identification – Be Safe not Sorry on the Road

With the unfortunate increase in incidents on the roads, it was reminded in our recent committee meeting about the importance of carrying some form of identification with you (including any medical information) on your person when cycling. This is important even if you are with the group but definitely when you are out on your own.

This is just a recommendation from the Club and not a requirement – but we are just sharing this info and giving you some ideas on how you safely carry ID on you.

The easiest and cheapest way obviously is to have an ID card on your person – something with a contact phone number in case of emergency and perhaps some medical info if you need that info shared with any emergency staff if an unfortunate incident would be to occur.
