The trip will cover 700km and begins at the Irish Guide Dogs training centre in Cork. The group begins their cycle from Mizen head and over the next 7 days will cycle through Cork, Kerry, Clare, Galway, Letter-Kenny and Donegal with Malin head being the final destination on Fri 31st May.
This cycle is in its 14th year and began in honour of guide dog owner Paddy Linnane. His son, Eamonn, provides the support team. There is a fundraising target of €1250 per cyclist which covers all accommodation and meals for the week .
All monies fundraised go towards supporting the work of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind to provide independence for those who are visually impaired and families of children with autism (www.guidedogs.ie).
