Tour of Tyrone Sportive 2013
On Sunday 9th June 2013, the Island Wheelers hosted their very successive and enjoyable sportive, the Tour of Tyrone. Everyone who took part thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the unbroken sunshine – hopefully everyone had their sun cream on!
A big thanks to everyone who gave up their time to help organise the event, and to those who made sure everyone was fed, hydrated, and kept safe on the day. Photos from the event will hopefully be online in a day or two.
Wicklow 200
As well as the Tour of Tyrone, another sportive took place on Sunday – the Wicklow 200! Six Wheelers made the trip down to take part in the epic ride. A massive well done to all, with a special mention to Paul O Hagan who hasn’t even been cycling a year, congrats Paul!
