Owen, Sean, Cathal and Dermot would like to express our gratitude to the Island Wheelers Cycling Club for giving us the opportunity to compete in the prestigious Omagh 3 day race.
We are very grateful to our Director Sportive, James (Brailsford) McLaughlin who provided support and guidance over the 3 days. He kept us focused with his motivational speeches and also kept us humoured with his tales of cycling.
Thank you to Gerry McVeigh who provided much needed Massage Therapy which helped our legs keep going on the gruelling last day.
And lastly thank you to Aiden Lafferty who was on hand with vital drinks at the summit finish.
We hope Cathal’s magnificent exploits will inspire and give motivation to all cyclists in the club.
