Reliability Run raises £1100 for Niamh Louise Foundation

The clubs annual reliability run, traditionally seen as the start of the cycling season, took place on Sunday 2nd February. This year the club was using the run to support locally based charity, The Niamh Louise Foundation.

Despite the recent poor weather a fantastic total of 118 riders signed on at the Gortgonis sports complex. The weather was kinder than of late with just a slight head wind at times and a good run was had by all…some struggled to hide the extent of their winter training. Volunteers from Niamh Louise kindly provided great soup and sandwiches for all the returning cyclists.

The club would like to thank all the fellow cyclists and clubs who took part in such numbers, and also our own members, who as drivers and support teams ensured another successful and safe run.
