Sunday the 30th of march saw the start of the long evening and more importantly the PJ logan annual race sponsored by McAleer and Rushe.

This year we ran the A1-A2 race ,A3 race,A4 and ladies race. All A3 and 4 races were sold out on the entry night. Conditions were damp in the morning  but quickly dried up. The pace was quick from the start in all races with each group staying away from the perusing pack behind.

There were plenty of breakaways in all the races but most were brought back  in. The A1-2 race saw a late breakaway to secure victory  an on the line victory for Ronan Mc Loughlin of Dig Deep by a fraction from Gary Jeffers East Tyrone , Sean McIntyre of Orchard took first place in the A3 with Jake Grey of East Tyrone (junior rider)2nd and Declan Mulholland Clan Eireann 3rd (junior rider) Paul Quinn was the first island wheeler home- good to see you back! A4 was won by Ali Gribben Carn Wheelers with Michael Brennan 2nd and John Boyle 3rd both from Tir Donnell ,Dean Burnside was the  first Island Wheeler home -again a great result from Dean who is showing excellent form

The ladies race saw a hard fought event decided By Rachel Mitchell of North Down in 1st with Sharon McKenna Emyvale in 2nd and Maraid Mc Gurk of Carn Wheelers in 3rd.
