The club has decided this year to resurrect the Altmore Hill Climb. This event will take place on the Thursday 14th August. The event was last run in 2011 and was won by Peter Hughes in a time of 14mins 40secs, you can read the race report -> here.
This is a club event for Island Wheelers club youth members and senior club members with a club/limited competition licence (or higher). Riders from other clubs are welcome to take part after all the club members have gone off.
Sign-on will take place from 6.15pm at the Torrent Complex in Donaghmore, with the first rider off at 7.00pm. Directions to the Torrent Complex can be found -> here. The climb can be found on MapMyRide -> here.
