Wheelers @ Irish National MTB XC Championships

The latest Round of the National XC Championship was run on Sunday July the 21^st at Garvagh Forest. The event was hosted by Carn Wheelers and as usual they put in huge effort and time to set out a brilliant course, great hospitality and a superb atmosphere- so hats of again to all at Carn Wheelers.

As usual we had an excellent representation of riders from the Island Wheelers , with riders in the majority of the categories, again the youth were on show and all did a great job of representing the club- big shout out to Aliyah  Rafferty who had a 3^rd in the Under 6 event (they are training them young in the Rafferty household!!)

Senior 4 saw a new Island Wheeler on the podium with Thomas Hepburn getting a well deserved 3^rd place and by all accounts this won’t be his last, great riding Thomas!

All the usual suspects were there and again thanks for representing your club!
