Wheelers hoping for glory in Omagh

This weekend, the Island Wheelers will have two teams comprising of Sean Mc Cann, Gareth Donnelly, Gerry Mc Veigh, John O’Hagan, Gareth Dempsey and Justin Quinn competing in the Tour of Omagh 3 Day.  The first stage on Friday evening will be a 22 mile road race, followed by a 40 mile road race on Saturday.  On the Sunday, the lads will have a short time trial in the morning followed by the final stage in the afternoon with a mountain top finish on Fivemiletown Mountain, ‘Sionfinn’.  A full itinerary can be found here.

The Omagh 3 Day is one of the most popular A4 staged race on the calendar and always attracts a strong field which should provide some great racing.  Good luck to all the Wheelers taking place!
