On Saturday 27th April twenty Wheelers, led by P. Mc Nally and M. O Donnell left the Cornmill at 8.20am bound for around the lough. Weather was dry and windy. Our first stop was Toome then onto our main stop Crumlin, this was a well-disciplined group with everyone doing turns on the front. The last twenty miles were tough into a northerly wind but this didn’t deter the group, and at 1.10pm we were back at the Cornmill will an average speed of 18.6mph. Riding time was 4 hours twenty five minutes. Well done to all our usual vets, our three newcomers Mart, Shane and young James, and our lady cyclist Vanessa. The next touring run from the Saturday group will be announced soon.
