With winter and the bad weather it brings fast approaching, it’s time to put away our expensive summer bike to and take out our cheaper and more comfortable winter bike which can withstand the harshness of the winter weather. For any club members out there who have yet to purchase a winter bike or who are perhaps in need of a new one look no further. A member of the club, Cathal Mc Laughlin, is selling his Specialized Sequioa. This is the ideal winter weather bike offering comfort and protection from the weather at a very low price.
If you read the description of the bike below you will see it has all the elements which make the perfect winter bike:
FRAME:
The frame is Specialized’s premium A1 grade aluminium which is designed with vibration dampening technology and features a relaxed geometry meaning that those winter miles are done in comfort.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- A Selle Italia Gel Flow saddle to ensure maximum comfort.
- Full mudguards to keep the bad weather at bay.
- A hugely reliable 9 speed Campagnolo groupset which includes Campagnolo Xenon rear and front mech with Campagnolo Xenon shifters, while the chainring is a Campagnolo Mirage triple to ensure smooth shifting throughout the winter.
- The excellent Campagnolo Vento G3 wheelset with Gatorskin tyres to ensure maximum puncture protection and grip on the winter roads.
- A Bottle cage
- Plus the necessary pump holder to ensure that, if a puncture strikes, you are ready to handle it.
- Pedals not included
